Referees
The referee plays an important role in the development of the players, providing a leadership role on the field, and are necessary to play the game.
As you may imagine, it is a tough job being a referee and sadly, we never have enough of them.
To be honest, we as parents and players are not always supportive or show respect to referee’s which doesn’t help our Referee shortage.
Over the last couple years the club has actively tried to change this declining trend.
Please, if you know of a person 13 years old or older that could use a growth opportunity, a first job, and/or a little cash, please submit the RSFC Referee Interest/Training Form
Just as important, please show respect and support for the referee’s this season… who knows, they may be your neighbor!

History
Watch the River Surge FC Announcement Video
After months of collaborative discussion, the respective Boards of Directors of both Electric City Youth Soccer Association (ECSA) and Kimberly Area Soccer Association (KASA) have come to the mutual conclusion that we can better serve our communities both on and off the soccer field by combining forces and joining together to form a single combined soccer club.
Our new club will be effective August 1, 2023. This ensures River Surge FC is operational for the Fall 2023 – Spring 2024 season.
With this union, the new club will provide an environment of competitive excellence and life learning through soccer to positively influence the youth of our combined community for decades to come. Our shared philosophical views on youth soccer place great emphasis on developing our youth members at every age and level of play, not just as youth soccer players but also as good sports men and women. Having this core value and the feedback we received from the respective club surveys is how we arrived at this union and how we will conduct player development moving forward. Ultimately, the goal of this union is to create the BEST environment for youth soccer in Northeastern Wisconsin.
Please stay tuned for more information as well as the new River Surge FC club website (coming soon!). In the meantime, please follow this link to a comprehensive FAQ document for additional details.
The opportunity this new vision provides for the community is exciting. We hope you share this enthusiasm!
