You have to be 13 years old at the time of registration.

Referee registration classes are open for the 2025 season.  This is a great way to make some spending money and make a difference to the community by participating in soccer as a ref.  

 

First time referees need to register on the US Soccer website and take the required online courses prior to registering for an onsite course.

Below is a list of dates and sites for the in-person class.  The deadline for completing the In-person on-field training session is 48 hours before the start of the session. 

 

WisRef requires course rosters to be set by this deadline. Please be diligent if you desire a Session for a particular date and time.

 

In-person on-field training sessions are held in the morning from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm or in the afternoon from 1:00 pm – 400 pm.
