Soccer age determination is based on birth year, not school year, please use Age Eligibility chart to determine what age bracket they should be in.

River Surge FC belongs to the East Central Soccer District, which dictates the game days for the recreational teams.

Any day other than a game day, could be a practice day for your team.  It depends on your assigned coach and field availability.

Tryouts are held in early June. Registration opens April 1 through PlayMetrics. Offers are sent mid-June. In-season tryouts may be available by contacting [email protected].

• Recreational: Local games, minimal travel, volunteer coaches.
• Academy: Ages 7–10, 2 practices/week + Saturday games, skill-based.
• Competitive: Tryouts required, higher competition, travel, and licensed coaches.

Fees range from $40 to $900, depending on age and program. Some programs include fundraising requirements or buyout options.

Yes, the Nestle Fee Assistance Program helps families in need cover registration fees only. Fundraising obligations still apply.

Fields are located in Kimberly, Kaukauna, Harrison, Sherwood and nearby communities like Green Bay, Oshkosh, and Fond du Lac.

A fun, parent-involved intro program for ages 4–6. It focuses on physical activity and bonding. Sessions include training and playful games.

• Rec: Random assignment
• Academy/Competitive: Skill-based placement via evaluations or tryouts

Most programs require either fundraising participation or a buyout. Competitive teams may do additional fundraisers for tournament expenses.

Only by evaluation. Players must rank in the top third of the older age group and be approved by the Director of Coaching.

Submit an interest form. Rec and Academy rely heavily on parent volunteers. Competitive teams also have paid coach opportunities.

Refunds are allowed only before the first game. The Executive Committee will review special cases; however, a portion of the fee may be retained by the club.

River Surge FC takes all incident reports very seriously; We aim to make all of our events safe, fun, and enjoyable for all involved!

In any team sport, concerns and/or conflicts will arise, and there will be a time when a Parent must be heard. Prior to communicating with the Coach(es), please ask yourself –

• Is my concern or comment true?
• Does my concern or comment directly involve my child?
• Is my concern or comment helpful?
• Is my concern or comment genuine?

If YES, please follow the Communication Protocol outlined below:

1. “Cooling Off Period” – wait 24 hours prior to contacting the Coach(es). This allows for time to calm down, evaluate your concerns, and proceed with effective communication.
2. NEVER interrupt practice or approach the coach after a game.
3. Email or call to schedule a time to communicate with the coach.
4. Face-to-face communication for personal concerns.

Yes. RSFC offers adult coed rec soccer starting in June. Games are Sunday evenings. Must be 18+. Registration closes May 6.

Yes. Winter training sessions are held in Kaukauna and Kimberly High School Indoor Turf fields for Competitive and Academy players.

You must be 13 or older. Certification through US Soccer required. Respect and sideline behavior are emphasized through club policy.
