This policy explains when and how registration fees may be refunded. It applies to registration fees and fundraiser buyouts paid at sign‑up.  Use the form at the bottom of this page to apply for a refund.

General Refund Rules

All eligible refunds are 50% of fees paid at registration, including the fundraiser buyout.
Refunds are only available if requested before the deadline listed below.
No refunds are issued after the deadline, regardless of reason.
Players registered for Full Year cannot switch to Fall Only after the deadline to receive a refund.
Refunds are issued within four (4) weeks of the request date.

Fall & Full Year Players
Competitive (U11 and older)

Deadline: August 1
Refund: 50% if requested before August 1
No refunds after August 1

Academy (Full Year)

Deadline: August 15
Refund: 50% if requested before August 15
No refunds after August 15

Recreation (Fall Only)

Deadline: August 15
Refund: 50% if requested before August 15
No refunds after August 15

Spring Only Players
Competitive (U11 and older)

Deadline: January 1
Refund: 50% if requested before January 1
No refunds after January 1
Players who register after January 1 are not eligible for any refund

Recreation & Academy (Spring)

Deadline: April 15
Refund: 50% if requested before April 15
No refunds after April 15

Fees That Are Not Refundable

Any team‑specific or club fees outside of registration
Tournament fees, even if the tournament has not yet been played

Hardship Refunds

Requests that fall outside standard policy may be submitted as a financial hardship request.
These are reviewed case‑by‑case by the In‑Need Scholarship Committee and reported to the Board.

Season Cancellation

If a season is canceled for reasons beyond the club’s control (e.g., pandemic):

RSFC may retain a portion of registration fees to cover non‑refundable club expenses.
The Board of Directors determines the retained amount based on when the season is canceled.

Tip for Families
👉 Submit refund requests early. Once a deadline passes, refunds cannot be granted.
